Sterling Silver Ring Making

In a fun jewellery making class, we will show your teen how to work with precious metals and give them confidence and skills to get creative learning basic silver smithing techniques. They will learn how to safely use tools and equipment, size their ring, saw-pierce metal and cut metal, texture stamp their ring, anneal and solder metal to join the ring band, finish and file their ring and patinate to highlight parts of their design. At the end of the class, teens will take home their handmade sterling silver ring band. Please note: This class is suitable for older students (11-18 years) and class numbers will be capped at 8 students. ​Please wear old clothes and bring a drink and a snack.
